Good design deserves good craftsmanship. At Copenhagen Home Design, that belief connects our history with our collections of handles and knobs. Attention to design and detail has helped shape a recognisable collection.
A century with quality at its heart
Our family business was founded in Copenhagen in 1923 under the name Chr. Jørgensen. By the time of the centenary, it was owned by the fourth generation. When the online shop launched in 2015, the name Copenhagen Home Design was chosen as a reference to the company's origins in central Copenhagen.
Handles, fittings and table extension mechanisms have been part of our specialism from the beginning. The business also supplies kitchen and furniture manufacturers in Denmark and Europe.
Between the webshop's launch in 2015 and the anniversary in 2023, we expanded the selection to include lighting, waste sorting systems and home accessories from Danish and international brands.

Introducing the anniversary collection: Trørød
The first product introduced in our anniversary collection was the Trørød knob.
Trørød combines a simple shape with natural marble for an understated, elegant look. Its solid brass body is topped with genuine marble, whose variations in colour and pattern give each knob its own character.
The smooth marble surface feels pleasant to the touch and adds a decorative detail to furniture. The images below show the anniversary design.
