Nordic Function – minimalist lines
Nordic Function combines minimalist lines with simple, elegant products and carefully chosen materials. In its 2021 catalogue, the brand described working with PEFC-certified wood and using small leather pieces that could be cut during the production of larger leather goods to reduce waste.
Functionality is central to each design. Nordic Function aims to add value through solutions that can often be used or installed in different ways. Turn over the top panel of the Hide Away shelf, for example, and you find a laminated surface that lets you change the shelf’s appearance.
The designs can work in different rooms throughout the home. The Hide Away shelf can serve as a bedside table or as a piece of hallway furniture.
The products are designed for both spacious houses and small apartments, combining a compact footprint with useful storage.
